Lingfield Point

Background

Lingfield Point is the UK’s largest sustainable mixed use community. Located on the site of a former Paton and Baldwins wool factory the combination of highly innovative and architecturally award winning new and recycled buildings has created a vibrant live-work community.

Lingfield Point has already achieved the BCO Award for Best Recycled Building and aims to continue to positively change the way in which sustainable development is approached and delivered.

The developers appointed Cool Blue to create an exciting new identity and marketing campaign for the site which reflected its sustainable credentials and its high design values.

Strategy

Cool Blue had an extremely enjoyable job working with the many interesting, engaging and beautifully designed buildings, artworks and cultural activities that are all part of the experience of Lingfield Point.

In keeping with the developers green credentials we developed a highly individual website and an engaging digital marketing campaign aimed at selling the virtues of the site’s great location, excellent design features, affordability, green credentials and creative people-centric culture.

We also supplemented this with some highly tactile pieces of direct mail for use with commercial agents and media. These consisted of branded balls of wool packaged in boxes with call to action information reinforcing the site’s history and jars of honey produced by Lingfield Point’s very own bees and branded with the site’s details – for a sweeter way to live and work.

Result

The client has experienced great differentiation in a typically aggressive and commoditised sector attracting greater interest from agents and media alike.

Lingfield Point is home to businesses of all shapes and sizes including some of the biggest and best known private companies as well as many public sector organisations.

It continues to deliver innovative sustainable solutions to progressive businesses and organisations from around the UK.
