Cool Blue is proud to be a part of this year’s iVamos! Liverpool Festival, taking what’s been a successful festival in the North East for the past 10 years, and promoting it to a new audience in Liverpool.
iVamos! is an award-winning festival of Spanish and Portuguese cultures and will fill the streets of Liverpool on October 31, with Calavera (Mexican skull painted faces) in an attempt to break the world-record for the most together at the same time.

And as part of iVamos!’s packed cultural schedule of events, the work of world-famous Mexican artist Frida Kahlo made its UK debut at the Central Library in Liverpool on October 24.

We’ll be working on the festival into next year and are looking forward to the first UK exhibition of internationally renowned Mexican fashion designer Manuel Cuevas – whose clothes have dressed everyone from The Beatles to Dolly Parton. The festival will also feature Liverpool/Mexico focused visual art and fashion commissions, Mexican craft activities and more, all taking place in Liverpool which is host to the UK’s largest concentration of Latin American communities outside London.
