Channel 4 announced a new VoD (video on demand) feature that will allow advertisers use the names of their 15 million registered users into their ads.
Personalisation has become much more advanced, allowing for deeper and more meaningful customer relationships, that encourages conversions and increases engagement with an audience.
At launch Channel 4 will partner with Fosters and 20th Century Fox however it’s expected that this will be rolled out in the near future.
As video consumption online continues to grow it’s a logical step to personalise to the watcher, helping to make your content stand out from the crowd.
An example of the an ad is for Alien Covenant and will see a trailer for the film with a message at the end personalised to the registered user.
