The Task:

Based in Thetford, Norfolk, Multiyork has been designing and manufacturing quality assured sofas and chairs for nearly four decades. With over 50 styles available in thousands of fabrics, Multiyork provides unrivalled choice in terms of design and comfort.

As part of its ever-evolving fabric offering, Multiyork partnered with High-Street fashion brand Monsoon to launch an exclusive range of designer fabrics: ‘Monsoon Home Collection by Multiyork’. This creative collaboration saw archive prints meticulously manipulated and reworked to translate beautifully as upholstery.

Cool Blue was tasked with launching the new collection to the media as well as developing marketing materials to showcase the range to customers.

Solutions & Results:

To create hype and a must-visit press event, Cool Blue devised a Monsoon takeover of Multiyork’s flagship Central London showroom on Tottenham Court Road.

The store’s exterior was wrapped in one of the collection’s signature fabrics while the interior was professionally styled with flower-filled vignettes, designed to mirror photographs taken to promote the collection.

The launch day attracted key editors and journalists with Cool Blue co-ordinating a dedicated social media campaign to announce the collection, make the most of the buzz and interact with key opinion formers. The collection has featured in The Daily Telegraph, The Times and The Sunday Times, as well as leading consumer magazines, websites and blogs.
