The Task:

Spiral Cellars is the established expert in wine storage for the home, specialising in unique premium wine cellars and bespoke wine rooms.

Its customer magazine, ‘Cellar Life’, did not reflect the brand’s premium position or the aesthetic principles of their affluent target audience and they needed an update without any increase in budget.

Solutions & Results

Recognising that the current Cellar Life magazine was unsuitable for their high-net-worth clientele, Cool Blue gave it a complete image over-haul.

We developed a new visual identity that was much cleaner, aspirational and premium with a monochrome colour palette and a focus on beautiful imagery to match the engaging content.

The distinct iPad size, thicker matt stock and more luxurious design resulted in a more readable publication that now confidently sits alongside the other publications read by their high-end audience.

The revised, more premium Cellar Life was achieved for no additional cost than the previous version and has also been shortlisted for a CIPR award.
