The Task:

Founded in 1987, Story Homes is a leading housing developer with an unrivalled reputation for building high-quality, high-specification homes in the North of England and Scotland.

The family-owned business has grown rapidly over the last few years, with ambitious plans for continued expansion. As a result the company needed an agency to design a new positioning proposition to reflect its strategic direction.

Solutions & Results:

To differentiate the brand, Cool Blue developed a new visual identity that considered the lifestyle aspirations of Story Homes’ customers.

The new look partnered clean, stylish designs with beautiful imagery and engaging content, bringing the brand’s key points of difference
more vividly to life.

As well as creating a bespoke suite of print adverts and emailers, we also designed and produced a 52-page magazine, Story Living, to generate interest from stakeholders and consumers.

The publication not only promoted the company’s various developments, it provided a fascinating collection of news and views, behind-the-scenes stories and lifestyle content; including celebrity interviews, fabulous recipes and get-the-look interior features.

The materials generated excellent feedback and succeeded in helping Story Homes to engage with its target market and sell a number of properties.
