The use of colour gradients in design is coming back into trend. Personally I have always had a soft spot for using gradients to accentuate different areas within my design work. Whether it’s to provide an accent of lighting to a logo design or illustration, or to create an effect of changing moods. Ombré effects can help boost the impact on solid form and objects giving them more texture with subtle sophistication, enhancing different area and angles.
Colour is a powerful tool when designing for our interiors clients, boosting the brand language, and using ombré effects can give the work that extra lift when defining luxury and quality. This certainly seems to be the case across the industry with different premium brands using this technique at the moment.
