Let’s hear it for the Ideal Home Show, which has taken over Earls Court for 17 days of interiors and lifestyle magic. And with sections covering home improvements, technology, gardens, interior design, food, fashion and beauty, there’s plenty to keep you occupied.
With 600 exhibitors, thousands of products and hundreds of demos from celebrity chefs and interior designers, it’s packed full of inspirational ideas, and has even been likened to a living magazine.
The show even boasts five full-scale houses built inside, showcasing all the latest interior trends. Cool Blue client Barker and Stonehouse has several of its new products featured in the Multi Generation Home, styled by House Beautiful magazine and interior stylist Di Civil.
This home provides inspiration for 21st century living claiming to be the solution to the current housing crisis –and it could well be, for it can be taken to a site, erected and be fully habitable within a jaw-dropping 24 hours.
And for a great PR stunt, the show’s organisers even covered the outside of Earls Court in floral wallpaper, gaining media attention on the likes of Chris Evans’ Radio 2 Breakfast Show, which is no mean feat in my mind!
