Leading social media platform Facebook, renowned for its ‘Like’ button, has just launched a range of reaction emojis giving users more choice when commenting on a post.
In the past people have only been able to ‘like’ a post, which wasn’t necessarily always the most appropriate reaction! You’ll now be able to use a variety of faces and a heart – named simply as Love, Haha, Wow, Sad and Angry – to share your feelings on the platform.
While being beneficial to all personal Facebook users, this change will be of particular interest to businesses, as it may provide additional insights for advertising, to help to refine messaging and improve targeting.
As the rollout takes place, this is definitely one to keep an eye on.
