Microsoft are trying to tempt users to ditch Google and make the switch to using their search engine Bing and are willing to pay.
They are soon launching their Microsoft Rewards program, which will let users accumulate points for using Bing. These points can be transferred to a number of different rewards, these include Xbox digital gift cards, Groove Music passes and Skype credit.
Through the rewards program you will get 3 points per Bing search, which is doubled if you’re using Microsoft Edge. You can earn up to 30 points a day (60 points using Edge) through searches, or by taking part in quizzes to gain more. Microsoft will also give out 1 point for every pound spent at the Microsoft Store.
Would this be enough to make you switch from Google?
