My favourite TV commercial of the moment has to be the new campaign for Ritz Crisp and Thin snacks. The ad not only looks stunning but the clever use of the Irving Berlin show tune ‘Puttin’ On the Ritz’ creates instant brand recognition – making you wonder why they’ve never used the tune before!

Created by Mother, the £10m integrated campaign is based on the idea that eating the everyday snack will add a bit of ‘ritziness’ to your life and drive sales in the lucrative crisp market.

Having not advertised in the UK for 30 years (other than a tactical ad in 2014) the advert is part of a huge marketing campaign which includes outdoor, digital, in store and PR.

As with our recent Multiyork Summer Sale TV campaign, the ad is being broadcast across a range of terrestrial and digital channels – perfect for reaching a wider targeted audience who watch a mix of TV channels.
