Last night, we were lucky enough to attend the VIP reception for the much-anticipated pop-up interiors auction ‘the Spring Clean’ in aid of raising money for charitable organisation Kids Company. Curated by award-winning design duo Audrey Carden and Eleanora Cuniettti, the evening gave guests the opportunity to exclusively preview and snap up fabulous donated items from some of the UK’s most exciting British design talents.
Set in a savvy Shoreditch location the evening was a great success and attracted an impressive number of shoppers including celebrity guests such as Made in Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh and rapper husband Professor Green. There was also a live DJ set from Basement Jaxx for shoppers to enjoy while they browsed the attractive displays of designer pieces from furniture and bespoke artwork to super-stylish homewares. Our favourite pieces from the night included the Quetta Chair from Barker and Stonehouse, as well as Occa-Home’s Eichholtz Stag Heads. There was also some gorgeous neon artwork from Chris Bracey that we couldn’t take our eyes off but, for me, the crème de la crème was the uber-cool cushion display which was suspended from the ceiling.
Today the official 3-day event begins; be sure to pay it a visit!
