The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards reward the work of the UK’s leading PR teams and we were thrilled to be recognised at the 2014 North East event, held at The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle.

Cool Blue won three Gold awards for Corporate and Business Communications Campaign (for Go Digital Newcastle), Consumer Relations Campaign (for Charles Clinkard) and Regional Campaign of the Year (for Go Smarter, Make Tracks).

Commending the Make Tracks campaign the judges said: “A fantastic example of how creativity can make huge waves in a small area, on a low budget. The team showed impressive knowledge of their region and created heightened awareness through small nudges, as opposed to dictating behaviour change. The results prove clever tactics can win over big budgets.”

We also picked up six Silver awards for Best Use of Social Media, Best Event, Corporate and Business Communications Campaign, Low Budget Campaign, Regional Campaign of the Year and Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy.

Furthermore our colleague Adrienne Hunter was awarded Gold for Outstanding Freelance Practitioner after demonstrating excellent campaign results and a passion for continuous professional development.

It was a night of celebration and the opportunity to reflect on all the hard work we have put in over the last 12 months.  Here’s to another successful year in 2015!
