To launch this new premium mattress brand filled with wool sourced from a Lakeland flock, our strategy was to communicate a fully realised brand story to the press right from the start.

We revealed herdysleep’s utter quality through stunning art-directed photography, and outlined the collaboration between Lake District brand Herdy and expert mattress makers Harrison Spinks in a beautiful brand book. Then we created mini-mattresses to charm influential journalists – and invited editors to experience the ultimate hotel sleepover…

Solutions and results

There was a fabulous response to our launch campaign with ten key editors from our target media attending, including The Telegraph, Metro, Elle Decoration, Country Life and Homes & Gardens to name but a few. The best testament of success was the number of product sales made during the first month post-launch.
