Revered as one of the world’s leading lighting specialists, for over 35 years, John Cullen Lighting has been offering a complete service for all aspects of interior and exterior lighting design. From in-house designed energy efficient fittings to planning and installing, John Cullen Lighting has worked with both specifiers and end-consumers alike to deliver award-winning residential, superyacht and hospitality schemes.

The Brief

Evolve the brand identity, bringing it up to date to target high-end consumers and the design community, both at home and internationally. In addition, redesign the brochure portfolio to talk to specific audiences.

Brand Identity

Following an audit of all materials, we explored logo design, recommending a contemporary look that would stand the test of time. In addition, we added the strapline ‘Inspire with Light’ to communicate the brand’s ethos and unique offering to new audiences unfamiliar with the name.

Consumer Brochure

John Cullen Lighting benefitted from stunning architectural case study photography. Our team worked hard to rationalise the images to demonstrate the full extent of the offering. The resulting design maximised the impact of the photography whilst guiding consumers through each of the brand’s services.

Understanding the audience was key to the successful design of this brochure. From interior designers to architects and installers, the brochure not only needed to communicate the product offering but showcase technical information in a clear and concise format.
