A Sustainable Live-Work Community

The Client

Once a flagship manufacturing plant for the world-famous knitting yarn company, Paton and Baldwin, Lingfield Point is now a flourishing business community. Dating back to the 1940s the business park is unique and offers a vast array of workspaces for a multitude of companies, from nationally known brands to entrepreneurial start-ups.

Cool Blue was initially asked to develop a marketing campaign and materials to launch the site. Communicating the site’s sustainability and design-driven values in its branding and marketing campaign was key.

A Feel Good Friendly Place

In initial discussions with the team at Lingfield Point the community aspect of the site and space available came across strongly. We wanted to ensure this friendly culture was evident in the marketing campaign and the materials we developed. We created quirky visuals with casual, friendly words and phrases to communicate the core messages.

Cool Blue transformed the way Lingfield Point communicated digitally. We devised a website which functioned as a fully interactive communications hub, complete with a blog, social media integration, CRM package, intranet and e-marketing functionality.

Cool Blue worked with Lingfield Point to improve search visibility of the site within the local area for a series of terms relating to the letting and rental of office and warehousing space. The team at Cool Blue carried out on-page content improvements, the results of which pushed Lingfield point to the top five results in its target areas for its focused keywords.

Having worked with Lingfield Point for many years we’ve secured local and national coverage across a range of publications and titles with a wide variety of content.

We created a vibrant and quirky suite of design and marketing materials which were used through-the-line to communicate Lingfield Point’s ethos and values.

These included site-wide signage, e-marketing and direct marketing materials, adverts, and its website.

In keeping with the community feel of the Lingfield Point site its social channels are a key method of communication with current and prospective customers. We work alongside the team at Lingfield Point to develop engaging content for its Facebook and Twitter feeds and produce blog content as an enhancement to its SEO strategy.

“Cool Blue have transformed our site, making it the talk of the mixed use property sector, which has been brilliant for getting our name better known with agents and potential customers. It is also a highly effective and dynamic communications forum in which we are developing new and existing commercial relationships, and from which we can conduct sophisticated e-CRM activities. This is already resulting in savings on budget previously spent on print-based marketing. We’re delighted with the site.”
