Bringing Fashion Home

The Client

Multiyork handcrafted sofas and chairs in the heart of Norfolk for over 40 years. Celebrated for its dedication to traditional manufacturing techniques combined with modern innovation, every product was made to order and to last. With over 50 stores across the UK, the brand offered the most extensive library of upholstery fabrics on the high street. Customers were encouraged to choose the right colour, pattern and texture to create their perfect sofa.

The Brief

Multiyork challenged Cool Blue to launch its exclusive collaboration with British fashion brand, Monsoon, to the media.

The ‘Monsoon Home Collection by Multiyork’ saw 15 designs from Monsoon’s archive reworked into stunning upholstery fabrics that could be mixed and matched across each of Multiyork’s sofa and chair styles.

Photography

Creating the right look for the collection was key. The lifestyle photography not only had to promote the fabrics but tell a story. Cool Blue worked with Monsoon’s fashion stylist to bring the catwalk into the living room through striking room sets.

Look Book

To bring the brand collaboration to life and introduce it to the media, Cool Blue designed a beautiful look book. This quality asset was an essential tool to showcase the collection both in person and through the post.

A Launch Event

To create hype around the launch as well as excite influencers and the media, Cool Blue hosted an event at Multiyork’s central London store. Taking advantage of the store’s glass frontage, our design team created a jaw-dropping window decal to wrap the store in one of the new Monsoon fabrics. Inside, our stylist created vignettes to reproduce the lifestyle room sets showcased in the photography. A champagne afternoon tea welcomed the press whilst a wall of cushions introduced more of the fabric designs and colourways.
