Creating a unique brand identity for the new-to-market luxury housebuilder

Banks Homes is a relatively new player in the housebuilding market, established in 2023 as a dedicated private residential arm of the established Banks Group. While the Banks Group boasts a rich history dating back to 1976, with expertise in land development and property projects across the north of England, Scotland, and Yorkshire, Banks Homes specifically focuses on constructing high-quality, energy-efficient homes for the future.

Bridging the housing gap in the North East and Yorkshire, Banks Homes specialises in building high-quality homes for families and couples alike. Combining spacious designs, meticulous construction, and sustainable features, each development fosters a vibrant community, transforming houses into true homes.

The task in hand

Our task was to create a new brand identity for Banks Homes that aimed to capture the essence of the brand, its values and its team, their unyielding commitment to quality, exceptional customer service, and sustainable practices. But the true test was to create a brand that resonated with every homeowner, whether drawn to the pinnacle of sophistication of their luxury Mount Oswald development to the timeless elegance of their classic collection homes in West Rainton.

Our approach

We aimed to create distinction and a unique voice for the brand. Helping them to create an experience for potential buyers that transcended beyond bricks and mortar. We wanted buyers to envision not just a house, but a haven – a place where they could truly make a home, and unlock the life they’ve always dreamed of.

We’re proud to say that the final approved brand reflects the soul of Banks Homes: a harmonious blend of luxury and practicality, innovation and tradition, all guided by a deep commitment to their customers and the environment.

We crafted a distinct tone of voice and visual identity including the unique logomark. We empowered Banks Homes to stand out from the crowd and now they can continue their mission of making a lasting difference in the lives of their homeowners, one exceptional property at a time.
